Anderson's January 2012 Letter

January 2012
Dear Pastor and Friends,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!
Sue and hope and pray that each and every one of you had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! We spent the Christmas season with our eldest son Scott and his family and had a great New Years day surprise when our 7 year old granddaughter asked Jesus Christ to save her. We have now 2 out of 4 grandchildren saved. Please pray for the other 2, Taylor and Bryce.
Well 2011 is in the past and we are now looking forward as to what the Lord is going to do through us this year. Last year we had many trials with Sue’s health but the Lord brought us through them and we praise his Holy Name we do not owe anyone for all the doctor and hospital bills.
We are also praising the Lord how the He is using two young men we have trained in Africa to fulfill the Great Commission in Malawi and Botswana. Please pray for Brian Kaoma and his wife Phyllis who are from Zambia and doing mission work in Malawi. In the short time they have been there a church has been started, a Bible Institute has been started, and he has established numerous preaching points in Malawi and Mozambique. They are in need of additional monthly financial support and if you would like to help them, please send donations to I AM Ministries and we will insure the funds reach them.
Isaac Nkele is a young single man from Botswana that I led to the Lord in the late 90’s and went on to obtain his nursing degree. He is working in a government clinic located in northwest Botswana near the Namibia border. When he is not working he is evangelizing and has nearly 100 converts. He is not a pastor so we are praying for someone to surrendering and go teach, preach and help establish a church there. Isaac could also use some money to purchase Bibles. We praise the Lord for BEAMS sending him some every month but he could use more along with teaching material.
This year is appears to be another busy one and we are praying we can get through it with few problems and that maybe the trumpet will call us home, but there is still much work to be done.
Our main goals for the year is to visit all our supporting churches and hopefully some new ones and to make a trip to Botswana and Swaziland to teach and preach, which will cost us approximately $8000 to $10,000, which includes airfare, accommodations, food, transportation and conference supplies. More details to come shortly as I put plans into place. If we can get 100 churches that either support us now or have been receiving our prayer letter for the last 24 years to send us at least $100 we will meet the needed cost. Also if anyone would be interested in going along please contact us.
In closing Sue and I want to praise God for our supporters! You all have been faithful in you giving and prayers. Even in these hard times our support has stayed on an even keel. Thank you for your sacrifices which are not taken for granted.
In Christ’ Service,
Dennis & Sue Anderson
